tobacco smokeDo you live or work with a smoker?  Tobacco smoke is full of tar particles that clog the filters of conventional indoor air purifiers, not to mention the odor and carcinogenic components that are obvious and well-known in regard to smoking.  If tobacco smoke residue affects an air purifier filter this way, imagine the effects of secondhand smoke, which contains over 4,000 harmful substances, can do to the lungs of every person and animal in the vicinity.

Some air purifiers are specially equipped to alleviate tobacco smoke odor and its effects on those who suffer from related allergies, but even the innovative designs of such air purifiers do not have the ability to render the effects of secondhand smoke completely harmless.  However, these air purifiers will ease breathing for people with tobacco smoke allergies and neutralize tobacco smoke odors, creating a fresher, cleaner-feeling indoor space by improving the overall air quality.

Ecoquest water purifiers

Many water purifiers on the market today use a reverse osmosis system to remove organic and chemical impurities from drinking water.  The most famous use of reverse osmosis in water purification involves desalination, or the removal of salt from sea water.

Ecoquest water purifiers use a different method that employs carbon filtration, ultraviolet (UV) light, and ozone to destroy and remove harmful microorganisms from water that is to be used for drinking and cooking.
