Ordinary household products used for cooking can act as effective cleaners for most surfaces and objects. For example, in the kitchen a half cup of white vinegar with a gallon of hot water will effectively clean your floors. For a stove top, lemon juice mixed with water will dissolve grease stains. For the laundry, a fourth cup of washing soda (sodium carbonate) can be used in place of bleach for whites, add a fourth cup of white vinegar to clean the clothes. There are dozens of other solutions comprised of household products that can act as cleaners.
In addition to using household products as cleaners, there are organic cleaners made from organic materials and containing no chemicals that can dissolve and wipe out more potent stains and grit. These cleaners are affordable and are as friendly to the environment as using household products.
